eZee's WhatsApp Integration vs a Dedicated Guest Platform: Do You Need Both?

eZee Absolute can send booking messages on WhatsApp. A guest platform handles what happens during the stay. Here is how to decide.

eZee WhatsApp vs guest platform
Key takeaways
  • eZee's WhatsApp add-on covers booking-stage messages: confirmations, cancellations, check-in information, check-out with invoice summary, payment links and reminders.
  • It is listed at around $15–30 a month plus Meta charges, which is good value for booking notifications.
  • A guest platform adds in-stay request handling, staff routing, timers and feedback. Decide which system owns your WhatsApp number.

What eZee's WhatsApp integration does

eZee Absolute offers a WhatsApp Business integration for its PMS. Its pricing page lists updates for reservation confirmation, cancellation, check-in information, check-out notification with invoice summary and payment collection links[1]. Its feature page adds pre-arrival booking reminders and auto-responder messages that act like a simple chatbot[2].

What happens during the stay

Booking messages are only half the guest's WhatsApp conversation. Once guests arrive, they ask for things: towels, a plumber, room service, a late check-out. These need to reach the right team, be tracked and be closed.

As of October 2026, eZee's WhatsApp page does not list department routing, SLA timers, a staff app for request handling, or owner reports on in-stay requests. That is the job of a dedicated guest platform.

Two layers, two jobs

Who does what
eZee WhatsApp (booking stage)
  • Booking confirmation and cancellation
  • Pre-arrival reminder
  • Check-in information
  • Check-out invoice summary
  • Payment link
Guest platform (in-stay)
  • Welcome at check-in and stay messages
  • AI answers in Hindi and English
  • Requests routed to departments
  • SLA timers and escalation
  • Feedback, tipping and owner reports

Can you run both?

Yes, with one rule: decide which system owns your WhatsApp number. A WhatsApp Business number is normally connected to one provider at a time, so two systems sending from the same number need planning.

  • Option 1: keep eZee for booking messages on one number, and use the guest platform on a second number for the stay.
  • Option 2: let the guest platform own the number and read check-in and check-out events from eZee, so guests talk to one number throughout.
HotelPing offers an eZee connection (on request) that reads in-house guests through eZee's connectivity API, so reception does not enter guests twice. Until it is switched on, reception can start each guest's journey with one tap.

Quick decision guide

  • You mainly want confirmations and reminders: eZee's add-on is enough.
  • Guests message you during the stay and requests get missed: add a guest platform.
  • You want one number from booking to check-out: let one system own the number and connect it to eZee.
